Dr David Blyth

David has been a consultant for more than two decades, working across strategy, leadership and organizational architecture. He has worked on some large scale, long-term transformation projects, but not all strategy leads to these large, multi-year transformations. His strategy work allows him to blend his domain expertise across strategy & leadership.
David came to consulting as a successful Executive Director, having transformed the organisation to become the clear market leader. His record included strong commercial success: bid, won, negotiated and delivered multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts. He also designed and launched an Executive MBA program at Curtin's Graduate School of Business. His work has traversed China, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Africa and Germany.
David also teaches the MBA business strategy unit at UWA's Business School, where he is an Adjunct Associate Professor. And he teaches strategy on-line as part of a global MBA program . He was previously part of DukeCE's global educator network.
He also writes on strategy, leadership and organisational architecture.
David has a professional doctorate (DBA). Prior to that he completed a Master Applied Science in Medical Physics and an MBA. He spent 10 years as a Board member at ChemCentreWA, including the last 5 years as Deputy Chair/Chair, and was a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors for ca. 20 years.
